Job summary

Griffith Company is seeking an experienced Project Manager for its Underground Division to oversee engineering, scheduling, budgeting and field supervision on underground utilities projects. You will coordinate with owners, subcontractors and suppliers, ensure safety and quality, and drive project performance from planning through closeout.

Qualifications

• Experience managing underground utilities projects (especially wet utilities) in a heavy civil environment.
• Strong work ethic and excellent time management skills.
• Knowledge of public contract code.
• Excellent writing, presentation, and computer skills.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and manage the field team with the Division Manager and Estimator.
• Establish project objectives with the Division Manager.
• Monitor and control construction to meet schedule and budget.
• Manage contract documentation with owner, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Prepare and maintain baseline schedule and forecasts.
• Oversee risk management and change controls.
