Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Project Manager in Houston to lead underground utility construction projects from start to finish. You will ensure safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence while coordinating with site crews and clients.

Qualifications include 5–8 years in construction project management, large project oversight ($10M–$20M+), and proficiency with Primavera and MS Office. OSHA 30 and ability to read civil/structural/electrical plans are required for success.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of project management experience in construction (transmission, substation, distribution, or EPC).
• Experience managing large projects $10M–$20M+ from start to finish.
• Led teams and mentored junior PMs or field staff.
• Hands-on experience with underground utility construction.
• OSHA 30 certified.
• Able to read and interpret civil, structural, electrical plans and specs.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experienced in Primavera for scheduling.
• Familiar with OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E and safety regs.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects start to finish (ALL underground utility work).
• Keep projects on schedule, within budget, and running safely.
• Coordinate with SELF-PERFORMED crews.
• Support planning for scope, timelines, and manpower needs.
• Track progress and report updates to team/client.
• Help order materials, equipment, and labor as needed.
• Run/assist with job site and project update meetings.
• Handle change orders, basic contract support.
