Job summary

VCI Construction, LLC. is seeking a Supervisor Telecom Construction Underground in Baldwin Park, CA, to lead field crews on underground telecom projects.

The role requires 8+ years of construction supervisory experience in underground tech, with strong relationships with staff, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants. Responsibilities include reviewing production, approving work, managing time sheets, and closeout documentation while ensuring safety and OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years supervisory experience in Aerial & Underground utility construction.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.
• Ability to read prints and line out crews.
• Knowledge of OSHA requirements and OSHA 30 certification.
• Valid Class C Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Walkout projects and submit SOW totals.
• Review and approve all production.
• Keep complete and submit job closeout packages.
• Be aware of all vehicle and equipment needs and condition, as well as employee performance and needs.
• Effectively write reports, internal site audits, and manage employee time sheets.
• Review and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
