Job summary

Delve Underground is seeking a Construction Manager or Resident Engineer to lead world class tunnel projects in the southwest region of the United States. The successful candidate will direct project teams, ensuring delivery on time and within budget, with emphasis on water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer and pipeline work.

The role demands extensive leadership, foresight, and strong English communication, with travel to project sites required.

Qualifications

• 20+ years heavy civil experience in engineering, construction, or CM.
• 15+ years management of large underground projects.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (or overseas equivalent).
• Professional engineering registration or CCM certification preferred.
• TBM mining experience.
• Ability to travel to project sites.
• English language proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Act as owner's representative, managing contractors and contract administration including payments and change orders.
• Lead a construction management team across discipline engineers and inspectors.
• Plan, schedule, and oversee deliverables such as schedules, specifications, and budgets.
• Lead QA/QC reviews per client requirements.
• Manage projects with budgets up to $500 million.
• Develop business development strategies with clients.
• Promote the company in industry forums.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives and growth of the Construction Management Group.
