Job summary

Delve Underground is seeking a Construction Manager to deliver world class tunnel projects. This full-time role requires leading construction management for major underground transport, water, and utility projects across multiple sites.

Candidates should have extensive experience in directing project teams, forecasting risks, and delivering projects on time and within budget. Travel to project sites is required as needed.

Qualifications

• 20+ years in heavy civil industry (engineering, construction or construction management).
• 15+ years in management of large and complex underground projects.

Responsibilities

• Act as project owner's representative with contractors and manage contract administration (payments, change orders, time extensions, claims, certificates).
• Provide progress reporting to owner's organization.
• Manage construction management team (resident engineers, office/field engineers, cost/controller, inspectors, admin).
• Lead discussions, meetings and workshops.
• Plan, create and oversee schedules, specifications and budget reports.
• Lead QA/QC reviews per client requirements and company policy.
• Manage projects with budgets up to $500 million.
• Develop business development strategies with new and existing clients.
