Office of the Illinois State Treasurer is seeking an Unclaimed Property Fraud Manager to lead fraud detection, investigations, and prevention within the Unclaimed Property Division. You will guide fraud‑prevention strategies, supervise workflows, and ensure compliant claim reviews to protect the State from fraudulent claims.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, criminal justice or related field required.
• CFE or CISA designation desired; 3+ years unclaimed property experience.
• Strong leadership and supervisory abilities; high integrity and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Leads fraud-monitoring systems across KAPS, Finder Table, and KFI.
• Oversees resolution of escalated KFI issues and final claims decisions.
• Ensures daily review and reporting of KFI data.
• Supervises staff in fraud detection and claims review procedures.
• Develops training on fraud detection and prevention.
