Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 4 years allied health or patient care experience, 2 full-time ultrasound experience.
• Allied health degree or 2-year program with 1 year ultrasound experience.
• Completion of an approved ultrasound training program.
• RDMS or RVT/RVS or RDCS/RCS registry required.

Responsibilities

• Review patient histories and clinical data to guide imaging exams.
• Explain procedures to patients and address questions.
• Position patients and operate ultrasound equipment for imaging.
• Calibrate and adjust ultrasound settings based on body part.
• Take measurements and document observations for preliminary reports.
• Maintain infection control and sanitize rooms and equipment.
