Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent and current enrollment in an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required upon hire.
• Comparable combination of education and experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Radiologic Technologists in diagnostic imaging procedures by using standard protocols.
• Enforces compliance requirements and ethics as per organizational values.
• Maintains confidentiality and follows hospital policies.
• Ensures regular attendance and adheres to timekeeping policies.
• Positions patients and moves equipment safely during exams.
• Demonstrates proper positioning and labeling of images with markers.
• Maintains infection control and department cleanliness.
• Reviews orders and confirms patient identifiers before procedures.
• Assists with C-arm procedures in OR and other areas.
• Ensures radiation safety and protective measures for patient and staff.
• Communicates effectively with patients and healthcare team.
• Maintains inventory and reports equipment issues.
