Job summary

USA Health in Mobile, AL is hiring a Radiologic Technologist to support Radiology and CT procedures. You will perform imaging exams, assist radiologists, maintain equipment and ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the exam.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT certification, High School Diploma or equivalent, and 1 year of experience in diagnostic imaging. Bachelor’s in Radiologic Technology is a plus.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; ARRT Registry required; 1 year of diagnostic imaging experience preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Radiologic Technology may substitute for up to one year of experience.
  • ARRT certification required within 1 year; Advanced registry preferred where applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Rotate within Radiology and CT departments as needed.
  • Assist Radiology and CT students during training.
  • Perform imaging exams with appropriate labeling and positioning.
  • Maintain competency with imaging equipment and supplies including CT fluoroscopy, injectors, and post-processing software.
  • Ensure radiation protection for patient and staff; adhere to safety standards.
  • Assist Radiologist during procedures and prepare IV access and contrast administration.
