Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and completion of an approved ultrasound training program or 2 years of ultrasound experience.
• RDMS or RVT registration with ARDMS/CCI upon hire.
• RVS registration with CCI upon hire.
• Other combinations and experience may substitute per ARDMS/CCI requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patients for examinations and explains procedures while performing studies.
• Evaluates clinical history to determine appropriate ultrasound procedure.
• Consults with physicians to determine required ultrasound procedures.
• Maintain scan logs and equipment records; adhere to safety standards.
