Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent required.
• Five (5) years of experience in clinical imaging, with at least three (3) years in ultrasound/sonography.
• ARDMS registration as an Ultrasound/Sonography technologist required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct sonography/ultrasound screenings with attention to safe equipment operation and high-quality imaging.
• Read and interpret imaging orders; consult radiologist if clarification is needed.
• Interview patients to assess risk factors and prior history relevant to examination safety.
• Select scanning protocols and imaging parameters using anatomy knowledge and imaging capabilities.
• Guide patients through examinations, addressing anxiety and ensuring clear communication.
• Precept entry-level staff and coordinate with colleagues on daily workflow.
