Job summary

Cone Health in North Carolina is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic sonographic exams and contribute to high-quality patient care. You will operate ultrasound equipment, document findings, and support the radiology team with accurate imaging.

The role includes on-call coverage for after-hours, nights, weekends, and holidays, ensuring timely imaging and communication with physicians to aid patient diagnosis and treatment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; graduate of Radiology or imaging program.
• Minimum 2+ years of ultrasound experience.
• Current BLS certification required; ARDMS/ARRT/CCI RVT RVSR credentials preferred.
• Ability to perform routine and special ultrasound exams following protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality routine and special ultrasound examinations per protocols.
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort and safety.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment and optimize imaging parameters.
• Document patient data and findings in PACS with accurate records.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team for timely communication.
