Job summary

ICR, Inc. in Chantilly, VA is seeking a Senior UI/UX Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy modern web applications within an agile, DevSecOps‑enabled environment.

You will lead UI/UX efforts or contribute across the microservices architecture, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver mission‑critical solutions. Ideal candidates have 10+ years of full‑stack UI development, hands‑on experience with Angular, Tailwind, and MapLibre, and a TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI access; U.S. citizenship required.
• Extensive experience with the full software development lifecycle and associated tools.
• At least 10 years of experience building modern web UIs with Angular, Tailwind, and MapLibre.
• At least 10 years of experience developing software on Linux systems.
• Experience with authenticating/authorizing technologies (JWT, OAuth).
• Ability to decompose large tasks into iterative, achievable efforts.
• Strong practices in testing, configuration management, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop intuitive, responsive, and modern web UIs.
• Design, develop, and test software for a variety of systems.
• Gather and understand customer and operational requirements to implement new functionality.
• Develop unit tests to validate critical aspects of the system.
• Document and communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Design and review UI concepts, wireframes, and mockups for clean, user‑centered experiences.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and product stakeholders to refine UX workflows.
