Job summary

Tri-Force Consulting Services, Inc. in New York is seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to join a 12-month contract.

The role is hybrid: 3 days onsite at 2 Broadway, 2 days remote, to deliver design systems and user-centered solutions for transit-related digital products. You will collaborate with UX researchers, product managers, and engineers to ensure alignment with user needs and business goals, and you'll present concepts to senior leadership.

Qualifications

8+ years of UX design experience focused on mobile apps.
Proven leadership in UX for complex digital products.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work with complexity and attention to detail.
Experience in transportation sector or related fields.
Experience with accessibility guidelines.
Proficiency in UX design tools and visual design.
Collaborates with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across digital platforms (including signage for NYCT/LIRR/MNR).
Partner with UXR to understand rider needs, behaviors, and pain points; maintain a user feedback loop to improve UX.
Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on user needs and business goals.
Partner with Creative team (who own the MTA brand).
Present design concepts and research findings to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
Establish and document UX processes, and best practices.
Implement user testing and other quality control measures.
