Job summary

Tri-Force Consulting Services, Inc. in New York is seeking an experienced UI/UX Designer to join a 12-month contract.

The role is hybrid: 3 days onsite at 2 Broadway, 2 days remote, to deliver design systems and user-centered solutions for transit-related digital products. You will collaborate with UX researchers, product managers, and engineers to ensure alignment with user needs and business goals, and you'll present concepts to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of UX design experience focused on mobile apps.
• Proven leadership in UX for complex digital products.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work with complexity and attention to detail.
• Experience in transportation sector or related fields.
• Experience with accessibility guidelines.
• Proficiency in UX design tools and visual design.
• Collaborates with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across digital platforms (including signage for NYCT/LIRR/MNR).
• Partner with UXR to understand rider needs, behaviors, and pain points; maintain a user feedback loop to improve UX.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure alignment on user needs and business goals.
• Partner with Creative team (who own the MTA brand).
• Present design concepts and research findings to senior leadership and other stakeholders.
• Establish and document UX processes, and best practices.
• Implement user testing and other quality control measures.
