Catapult Federal Services is seeking a Sr. UI/UX Designer I to helm the visual identity of a mission-critical data solution.

This hybrid DC area role requires an active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph and leads the core UI, brand strategy, and scalable design system from ground up. You'll translate complex requirements into high-fidelity designs, collaborate with a cross-functional team in Agile, and deliver accessible, compelling interfaces while developing marketing materials to promote the product

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, HCI, Graphic Design, or related field.
• 4-7 years of experience with a strong focus on visual design, branding, and UI design systems.
• Proven experience applying user-centered design principles to establish brand identity and scalable UI systems.
• Portfolio showcasing branding, typography, and modern UI design.
• Experience building design systems, UI kits, and reusable components.

Responsabilités

• Lead the visual design strategy, brand identity, and overall look and feel of the product.
• Design and establish the foundational UI kit and scalable design system.
• Create high-fidelity mockups and prototypes that translate complex requirements into intuitive experiences.
• Own interface and interaction design for a modern, accessible user experience.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, developers, and stakeholders in an Agile environment.
• Develop and maintain the product's visual language and reusable components.
• Produce external marketing materials, presentations, and collateral to promote the solution.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to solve complex client challenges with design excellence.
• Refine the product's visual experience using user feedback and design trends.
