Job summary

The ideal candidate has extensive experience with Angular/React, HTML/CSS/XML, and design thinking, on an Agile team, with active TS/SCI clearance. This hybrid role requires 30% weekly onsite work in a DoD/IC context.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of front-end development experience.
• Proficiency with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular and React.
• 3+ years of UI/UX design and development experience on an Agile team.
• Strong understanding of UX principles, patterns, and practices.
• Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience with Design Thinking or Human-Centered Design processes.
• Active TS/SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement visually appealing and functional user interfaces.
• Develop UI designs using storyboards, process flows, wireframes, and sitemaps.
• Validate UI/UX requirements directly with users and stakeholders.
• Translate customer requirements into modern, responsive web interfaces.
• Recommend front-end development frameworks and design approaches.
• Troubleshoot and resolve user-interface and user-experience issues.
• Support accessibility requirements, including Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and Section 508.
• Collaborate with Agile software development teams.
• Apply user-centered design and design-thinking principles throughout development.
