Job summary

SAIC is seeking a UI/UX Developer to join the Land Border Integration team. The role is hybrid-remote with 2 on-site days per week in Ashburn, VA. You will design interfaces for web applications and collaborate with developers, systems engineers and product teams to deliver accessible, responsive experiences.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of UI/UX experience, U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a public trust clearance, and proficiency in React, VueJS or Angular,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of UI/UX experience.
Experience delivering accessible designs meeting Section 508 standards.
Proficient in modern JavaScript frameworks (VueJS, Angular, React).
Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in Agile environments.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with developers, systems engineers and product teams within an agile team.
Create wireframes, storyboards, and high/low fidelity prototypes; write UI specifications.
Design graphics, icons and visual elements for multi-application platforms.
Ensure designs meet usability and accessibility standards and tools.
