Job summary

SAIC in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Senior Mobile Developer to design and deliver React Native solutions for government-focused projects. This hybrid role requires 4 days on-site per week during year one, transitioning to 2-3 days on-site thereafter, with ongoing collaboration across React Native, iOS, and Android teams.

You will mentor junior developers, build modular components, and drive quality with unit and end-to-end tests, CI/CD pipelines, and modern tooling in a fast-paced agile

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with 9+ years of technical experience.
• Proven Mobile development experience.
• React Native is a plus.
• Native iOS and Android experience.
• Detox experience is beneficial.
• Typescript proficiency.
• Experience constructing and debugging CI/CD pipelines for mobile targets.
• Understanding REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Unit and end-to-end testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop React Native components.
• Use VS Code, GitLab, and Atlassian tools for ticketing, development, and testing.
• Present solutions in design reviews and document according to lifecycle methodology.
• Interface with native iOS/Android code from React Native.
• Write unit and end-to-end tests.
• Participate in daily scrums and code reviews.
• Mentor junior developers in React Native.
• Stay updated with React Native technology trends.
