Job summary

WeatherTech Direct is seeking a skilled UI/UX Designer to craft intuitive, conversion-oriented experiences for our ecommerce websites. You will own projects from discovery to implementation, collaborating with developers, marketers, analytics, and leadership to improve customer journeys and business outcomes.

The role is on-site in Bolingbrook, IL, with a strong emphasis on accessibility, design systems, and optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in UX/UI Design or related field.
• 4-7 years of professional UI/UX design with ecommerce experience.
• Strong portfolio showing user-centered design with measurable impact.
• Proficiency with Figma.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Experience designing responsive websites and mobile-first experiences.
• Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, design systems, and user flows.
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for collaboration with developers.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, heatmaps, session recordings, and other UX tools.
• Understanding of SEO fundamentals and accessibility (WCAG/ADA).
• Strong visual design, typography, layout, and interaction skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Highly organized with multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive user experiences balancing customer needs with business goals.
• Create wireframes, flows, mockups, and high-fidelity prototypes for site features.
• Design responsive experiences across desktop, tablet, and mobile.
• Improve existing experiences through iterative usability improvements.
• Develop product/category pages and promotional experiences to boost conversion.
• Collaborate with developers, marketers, analytics, and leadership.
• Partner with Marketing for campaigns and product launches.
• Maintain UI components, design systems, and brand guidelines.
• Ensure accessibility compliance and advocate inclusive design.
