Job Summary

A ServiceNow UI/UX designer identifies new opportunities to create better user experiences by gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements, and building navigation components. They develop branding strategies to help clients reach more customers and ensure that the end-to-end journey with ServiceNow products meets desired outcomes. We seek someone with an investigative spirit who loves problem-solving.

Responsibilities

1. Gather and evaluate user requirements.
2. Create storyboards, process flows, and sitemaps to illustrate design ideas.
3. Design graphic user interface elements such as menus, tabs, and widgets.
4. Collaborate with development teams to execute project roadmaps.
5. Facilitate workshops to gather user information and define success metrics for clients and stakeholders.
6. Develop wireframes, prototypes, page descriptions, diagrams, and user flows.

9. Conduct user research to understand customer needs and pain points.
10. Create and present solutions to address user needs within the ServiceNow framework.
11. Rapidly develop wireframes and prototypes.
12. Stay updated on industry best practices, strategies, and standards.
13. Define and communicate UX design strategies and principles to team members and stakeholders.
14. Explore diverse design solutions and develop user flows, high-fidelity mocks, and prototypes.
15. Rationalize and advocate for user needs and design work.
16. Deliver detailed designs to the development team.
17. Build collaborative relationships within internal teams and with clients.
18. Contribute actively as a team member and mentor junior designers.

Certifications Required

UI/UX certifications in Adobe XD, Figma, FigJam, Miro, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, PowerPoint, and Keynote.

Additional Information

Applications accepted until May 9, 2025. Salary ranges from $140K to $160K annually, depending on experience and qualifications. The position is eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, subject to performance and plan terms.
