Job Description:

Design Director

Location: Remote or Franklin, TN or Fort Collins, CO

Overview: As a Product Design Director in the financial industry, you will bring a passion for innovation through human-centered design, transforming complex financial experiences into intuitive products. You should have extensive experience leading multidisciplinary teams and translating customer insights into innovative digital solutions. Knowledge of design systems, agile methodologies, and experimentation techniques like design sprints and rapid prototyping is essential. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to align design strategies with user needs and regulatory standards, advocating for design as a driver of innovation to shape the future of financial services.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing the Product Design Team and setting design standards across the organization.
• Making final implementation decisions and ensuring operational effectiveness.
• Assisting UX Designers and reviewing their work.
• Participating in team meetings to understand requirements and strategies.
• Designing data gathering initiatives to improve user experience.
• Refining design processes to meet project timelines and budgets.
• Communicating with senior management and clients regarding design strategies.
• Other related duties as assigned.
