Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional front-end development experience.
• Proven ability to set up and integrate enterprise design systems.
• Strong expertise in WCAG 2.1/AAA, ARIA, semantic HTML, and accessibility testing.
• Proficiency in HTML, SASS, and Angular.
• Experience using Storybook for component development, documentation, and collaboration.
• Strong UX and accessible UI design.
• Experience with USWDS or enterprise design systems.
• Ability to create accessible, reusable components.

Responsibilities

• Build, document, and maintain a scalable design system and reusable component library.
• Develop wrapper components using HTML, SASS, and Angular.
• Develop accessible, reusable, and scalable UI components.
• Ensure components meet WCAG 2.1/AAA via semantic HTML, ARIA, testing.
• Use Storybook for development, documentation, testing, and collaboration.
• Partner with developers to drive accessibility and UX standards.
• Provide accessibility and UX support for major enterprise systems.
• Participate in code reviews, accessibility audits, and UX discussions.
• Mentor developers new to accessibility and design system practices.
• Support accessibility and design system compliance across enterprise apps.
• Contribute to sustainability and adoption of reusable design system components.
