Job summary

RibbitZ LLC seeks a Sr. UI/UX Developer/Architect to lead accessibility and design systems across enterprise applications. You will build a scalable, reusable component library using USWDS (or similar), Angular, HTML, SASS, and Storybook for development, documentation, and testing.

The role requires 5+ years of front-end experience, expertise in semantic HTML, ARIA roles, accessibility testing workflows, and strong communication skills to mentor teams and drive consistency across projects.

Qualifications

5+ years of professional front-end development experience.
Proven ability to set up and integrate enterprise design systems and reusable component libraries.
Strong expertise in WCAG 2.1/AAA, ARIA roles, semantic HTML, and accessibility testing workflows.

Responsibilities

Build, document, and maintain a scalable design system and reusable component library.
Develop high-level wrapper components using HTML, CSS (SASS), and Angular.
Ensure all components meet WCAG 2.1/AAA accessibility standards and testing workflows.
Use Storybook for development, documentation, testing, and collaboration.
Mentor developers and participate in code reviews and accessibility audits.
