Zohorecruit seeks a senior UI Front-End / Front-End Software Engineer (Level 3) to lead architecture and UI team delivery in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will guide a hands-on front-end team across the software lifecycle within an agile environment.

Role focuses on translating designs into accessible interfaces, designing component-based systems, and integrating APIs with back-end teams, while upholding high quality and accessibility standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline plus 12+ years of software engineering experience, or 16 years without a degree.
• Experience with front-end architecture and UI teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead front-end architecture and team delivery, providing technical direction, code reviews, and standards enforcement.
• Translate UX/UI designs into accessible, responsive interfaces across devices.
• Architect component-based front-end systems and design efficient API integrations with back-end teams.
• Contribute to full-stack efforts including back-end microservices, databases, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure quality control and accessibility compliance (Section 508, WCAG).
• Mentor and guide front-end engineers to deliver high-quality software.
