Elastic is seeking a Senior Software Engineer for the Streams UI team to enhance Fleet and Streams UI in Kibana. You will design and implement front-end features using TypeScript, React, and Node.js, collaborate with designers and product managers, and drive architectural decisions for scalable, user-friendly interfaces.

You will work asynchronously across time zones, contribute to code reviews, and promote best practices.

Formación

• Solid production experience with full-stack JavaScript (TypeScript preferred).
• Proven ability to own non-trivial projects end-to-end with design ownership.
• Strong architecture and system-design judgment in large codebases.
• Experience launching UI components that boost user engagement and commitment.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and modern tooling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; comfortable with async collaboration.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement intuitive UI components using TS, React, and Node.js; integrate with back-end services.
• Own complex problems from concept to delivery with architectural input.
• Lead architecture discussions, balancing performance, compatibility, and scale.
• Establish coding standards and promote reusable components; support automated testing/deployment.
• Perform thorough code reviews and identify security concerns; mentor peers.
• Collaborate across time zones with a fully distributed team on GitHub and Slack.
• Partner with designers and product managers to translate mockups into consistent UI.
