Job summary

Anchour is seeking a Senior UI Designer to own the look and feel of digital experiences across websites, ecommerce platforms, and products. You will build design systems, component libraries, tokens, and ensure WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility from the first artboard.

You will lead UI across projects, collaborate with UX, strategy, development, and marketing, and drive handoffs to engineers with organized specs. Remote-friendly with a Northeast focus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of UI, product, or digital design with a heavy emphasis on website design.
• Strong portfolio of high-quality website interface systems and shipped work.
• Craft fundamentals: typography, color, layout, hierarchy, and motion.
• Systems thinking: built website design systems and component libraries.
• Accessibility in your bones: WCAG 2.2 AA awareness.

Responsibilities

• Own UI from concept to launch across projects with WCAG 2.2 AA from the first artboard.
• Build the design systems behind the work: component libraries, interaction patterns, responsive behavior.
• Define the design systems that hold it together: typography, color, spacing, motion.
• Prototype high-fidelity flows to earn stakeholder sign-off.
• Handoff to engineers with organized Figma files and implementation-ready spec packages.
• Lead the work as primary UI lead, scoping to budget and timeline, managing risks.
• Raise standards by contributing to design systems, documentation, and reviews.
• Put AI to work across workflow, from exploration to QA.
