Job summary

Helsing seeks an experienced engineer to join its hardware and platform integration team. You will design and scale rigorous T&E pipelines for autonomous UAV fleets, run SIL/HIL analyses, organize flight tests, and analyze telemetry to drive robust, safe system performance in challenging conditions.

You will collaborate with software, ML research, and hardware design teams to translate findings into hardened engineering solutions, while drafting safety cases and verification artifacts for MIL

Qualifications

• Advanced skills in Python, C++, or MATLAB for data analysis and automation.
• Experience testing autonomous UAVs or aerospace platforms for defense or government customers.
• Familiarity with flight control systems and ground control software is essential.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and scale test and evaluation pipelines for autonomous UAVs.
• Plan and execute SIL, HIL, and M&S analyses to stress-test subsystems.
• Coordinate flight test campaigns with operators, field engineers, and software teams.
• Analyze flight data logs and sensor streams to identify root causes of failures.
• Draft test plans, safety cases, and V&V artifacts for certification.
