Job summary

Teal Drones, a subsidiary of Red Cat Holdings, is seeking a full-time Software Test Engineer to design, implement, and oversee testing for drone software systems ensuring safety, performance, and defense-compliant standards.

You will develop test requirements, execute EVT/DVT/PVT procedures, and create automated tests to improve throughput and data quality, collaborating with engineers and product managers across the development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Experience developing test plans, writing test procedures, evaluating test data, and determining product acceptability.
• Experience automating tests to ensure requirements are consistently met.
• Ability to troubleshoot test issues, identify root causes, and create corrective action processes.
• Degree in engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee test requirements and integration test plans, procedures, TRRs, data and reports.
• Execute qualification and acceptance testing per requirements and procedures.
• Execute tests, manage and prioritize problems and failures.
• Develop automated test scripts and control logic to improve repeatability and data quality.
• Collaborate with engineers, product managers and stakeholders in testing process.
• Maintain documentation and traceability within PLM and requirements systems.
• Automate testing.
