Job summary

helsing.ai is seeking a Design Engineer to work on innovative UAV platforms in Washington, DC. You will modify existing designs to meet US customer specifications and design mechanical and electrical architectures for unmanned systems.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree and several years of experience in mechanical or electrical design, particularly for aerospace systems. This role offers the opportunity to directly contribute to advanced defense capabilities.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in mechanical and/or electrical design for UAV platforms.
• Outstanding hands-on experience with 3D/2D CAD and PLM tools.
• Strong knowledge of modular design principles.

Responsibilities

• Modify and adapt existing UAV designs to meet US customer needs.
• Own subsystems design and participate in platform architecture development.
• Conceptualize and design UAV hardware configurations.
