Job summary

L3Harris Technologies, Inc. in Ashburn, VA is seeking a Specialist, Program Manager to lead DoD UAV development and production contracts, with 80% on development/manufacturing and 10% on proposals.

You will oversee cost, schedule, and technical performance, supervise a matrix team of engineers and operations staff, and report to customers and senior management.

This on-site role offers a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience; graduate degree with 2+ years; or 8 years experience in lieu of degree.
• Active US Secret security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Program Team and manage cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Develop and maintain project documentation: Integrated Master Schedule, Procurement Plans, Quality Plans, Engineering Plans.
• Supervise execution of project plans in a matrix environment across Engineering, Supply Chain and Operations/Manufacturing.
• Manage risk and opportunities; act as customer point of contact for contractual commitments.
• Establish program strategy, vision, and tactical direction; track performance against the schedule.
• Develop proposals, estimates at complete (EACs), and participate in annual operating planning.
