Job summary

Oregon Health Authority seeks an experienced UAT Business Subject Matter Expert Tester to support the SB 972 transition project. You will ensure that eligibility, enrollment, and marketplace systems meet business needs and comply with policy.

You will collaborate with GetInsured, Medicaid/ONE, and technical teams to design, execute, and validate UAT activities in agile and traditional delivery environments.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of UAT methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum frameworks.
• Ability to analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
• Experience designing and executing complex test scenarios.
• Proficiency using test management and defect tracking tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for both technical and nontechnical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Review project requirements, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria for clarity and testability.
• Maintain the requirements traceability matrix (RTM).
• Create and maintain UAT test cases, scenarios, data, and test suites.
• Contribute to UAT test plans outlining scope, approach, environments, schedule, and risks.
• Execute manual UAT test cases and document results with evidence and validation outcomes.
• Log defects with reproducible steps and retest after fixes in Jira/GI.
• Support regression and exploratory testing; identify automation candidates.
