Job summary

Expedite Talent Solutions seeks an experienced UAT Business SME Tester to support Oregon's SB 972 transition to a state-based marketplace. The role ensures eligibility, enrollment, and operations meet policy and regulatory requirements in collaboration with GetInsured, Medicaid teams, and product/tech staff.

The candidate will design and execute end-to-end UAT tests, manage RTM, test data, and defects, mentor business SMEs, and participate in Scrum ceremonies while helping improve testing

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of UAT methodologies, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum.
• Ability to analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into effective test cases.
• Experience designing and executing complex test scenarios.
• Proficiency using test management and defect tracking tools (Azure DevOps, Jira, etc.).
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills and knowledge of WCAG accessibility, security testing, and performance considerations.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria for clarity, completeness, and testability.
• Create, update, and maintain UAT test cases, scenarios, test data, and test suites.
• Contribute to UAT test plans outlining testing scope, approach, environments, schedule, resources, and risks.
• Execute manual UAT test cases and document detailed results with evidence and validation outcomes.
• Log defects with clear reproduction steps and use Jira for defect tracking; retest fixes.
• Support integration testing across systems, APIs, services, and interfaces affecting Marketplace operations.
• Prepare, request, or curate test data required for UAT cycles.
• Provide daily/weekly test metrics and progress updates to leadership.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to release readiness assessments.
