Job summary

Qualifications

Job Summary

Under indirect supervision, the UAS Maintenance Technician/Instructor III will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of all aircraft and related equipment. This role is responsible for monitoring, testing, preventive maintenance, and repair of infrastructure equipment and associated electrical, mechanical, and sensor systems in accordance with specifications and operational procedures within client technical facilities.

The Technician will also serve as an instructor, providing technical training and hands‑on instruction to internal personnel and/or customers on UAS system operations, troubleshooting, and maintenance procedures to ensure safe and effective field performance.

Basic Requirements

• High school diploma or GED and 5-7 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to perform routine and preventive maintenance on aircraft systems, subsystems, and ground support equipment.
• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting engines, flight controls, avionics, technology systems, and associated components.
• Knowledge of rigging equipment and safe rigging techniques.
• Ability to travel up to 75% CONUS and OCONUS.
• Must currently possess and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret security clearance.
• May be required to operate vehicles with a manual transmission.

Preferred Requirements

• Military flight experience is highly desirable.
• Composite, structural, and mechanical repair experience.
