Job summary

Dover Corporation in Downers Grove, IL, is seeking a U.S. Benefits Manager to lead financial management, planning and performance of health and welfare programs. You will analyze costs, manage budgets, collaborate with OpCo HR teams and vendors, and ensure compliant plan administration across Dover's operating companies.

The role requires 5+ years of benefits experience, strong analytical skills and a proactive, accountable mindset. A Bachelor's degree is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Finance or a related field.
• 5+ years of U.S. health and welfare benefits experience, with multi-location exposure.
• Strong analytical and financial acumen.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, renewal analysis and plan design evaluation.
• Strong written and verbal communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze health and welfare cost structures and claims data to identify financial drivers.
• Monitor actual costs against forecast, investigate variances and identify risks and opportunities.
• Support benefits strategy, plan design and program performance across Dover.
• Manage benefits administration and vendor relationships, ensure service levels.
• Ensure compliance with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, DOL and related requirements.
