Job summary

Ecovyst is seeking an Enterprise Turnaround Planner (West Coast/Mid-West) to provide technical leadership focused on equipment reliability and predictive maintenance best practices. You will drive turnaround planning, scoping, and scheduling, coordinating with plant operations and capital teams to deliver reliable results.

You will lead cross-functional teams, review critical equipment, and ensure alignment with ECO Services pre-TAR guidelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related technical field.
7+ years of progressive maintenance and turnaround planning/scheduling in refining, petrochemical, or chemical processing; at least 3 years as a lead planner.
Turnaround scope development, estimating, cost control, and critical path schedule optimization.
PMI certification (PMP, PMI-SP) or AACE PSP/ CCP is a plus; proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project.

Responsibilities

Lead Turnaround Execution Team to develop all turnaround pre-plans and schedules.
Manage Turnaround cost and schedule across all phases (before, during, after).
Participate in scope development and estimating for Turnarounds.
Facilitate execution of the turnaround schedule (scoping, planning, scheduling, engineering).
Review critical equipment conditions to target reliability issues.
Provide Turnaround Planning support to sites as needed.
Organize turnaround schedule with resources allocated.
Optimize schedule to identify critical path and achieve targets.
