Job summary

Ecovyst Catalyst Technologies in Long Beach, CA is seeking an Enterprise Turnaround Planner (West Coast/Mid-West) to lead maintenance turnarounds, improve reliability, and drive proactive planning. You will develop pre-plans, manage cost and schedule, coordinate scoping and scheduling, review equipment conditions, and collaborate with operations, maintenance, and capital teams to meet targets.

This role requires a engineering degree, 7+ years in turnaround planning, PMP/PMI-SP or equivalent, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or related field.
• 7+ years of maintenance and turnaround planning/scheduling experience; 3+ years as lead planner.
• Turnaround scope development, estimating, cost control, and critical path optimization.
• Enterprise-level turnaround experience; sulfuric acid or acid regeneration plant experience; PMP/PMI-SP/AACE PSP/CCP certification.
• Proficient in Primavera P6 and MS Project; strong communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead Turnaround Execution Team to develop pre-plans and schedules.
• Manage Turnaround cost and schedule across all phases.
• Coordinate scoping, estimating, and scheduling for turnarounds.
• Review critical equipment to target reliability issues.
• Travel to West Coast and Midwest sites; support across sites as needed.
