Job summary

Ecovyst is seeking an Enterprise Turnaround Planner (West Coast/Mid-West) to lead reliability-focused turnaround activities and drive proactive maintenance programs. This role emphasizes discipline, efficiency, and accountability within a multi-site context.

You will manage pre-plans, schedules, scope development, and execution while coordinating with Operations, Maintenance, and Capital teams to optimize critical paths and lifecycle costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; related technical field considered with extended experience
• 7+ years in maintenance and turnaround planning/scheduling; 3+ years as lead planner on major turnarounds, or 11+ years without a degree
• Turnaround scope development, estimating, and cost control; critical path scheduling and optimization; resource loading and craft manpower planning
• Integrating capital project work into turnaround schedules; pre-TAR milestone/readiness processes; ability to travel to West Coast and Midwest sites

Responsibilities

• Lead Turnaround Execution Team to develop all turnaround pre-plans and schedules
• Manage Turnaround cost and schedule across all phases (before, during, after)
• Participate in scope development and estimating for Turnarounds
• Facilitate turnaround schedule execution (scoping, planning, scheduling, engineering)
• Review critical equipment conditions to target reliability issues
• Provide Turnaround planning support to sites as needed
• Organize turnaround schedule with appropriate resources
• Optimize schedule to identify critical path and achieve targets
• Assist with discovery repair scopes to ensure reliability and lifecycle costs
• Schedule and facilitate TA coordination with Plant Operations, Maintenance and Capital
• Determine manpower levels and craft mixes to meet schedule milestones
• Integrate capital project schedules into the master Turnaround schedule
• Communicate Environmental and Safety Plan to turnaround resources
