Job summary

Concepts NREC, a global leader in turbomachinery design and manufacturing, is seeking a Turbomachinery Technician to join our on-site team in Hartford, VT. The role focuses on assembling, testing, and troubleshooting high-precision components for aerospace, energy, and industrial applications.

Strong hands-on assembly skills and a commitment to quality are essential. The ideal candidate will have experience reading engineering drawings, using precision measurement tools, and working effectively

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical cert or associate degree is a plus.
5+ years of experience in mechanical or electromechanical assembly, preferably in aerospace, energy, or industrial environments.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documents.

Responsibilities

Assemble complex mechanical and electromechanical systems and subassemblies per specifications and work instructions.
Perform precision fitting, alignment, and adjustments to ensure system functionality.
Conduct functional tests and identify and resolve issues during assembly.
Inspect parts and completed assemblies for quality and document test results.
Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to optimize processes.
