Job summary

Creare in Hanover, New Hampshire seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to join our R&D-backed production team. You will guide fabrication, inspection, and assembly of ultra-high-precision turbomachinery components and work with engineers, machinists, and suppliers to ensure manufacturability and quality.

The role demands an ABET-accredited engineering degree, 3+ years in precision manufacturing, and strong GD&T and communication skills.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree is required.
• 3+ years of production management or manufacturing engineering experience in precision aerospace or cryogenic hardware.
• Experience with high-precision fabrication techniques and GD&T is desirable.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop process plans and procedures for precision parts and assemblies.
• Collaborate with machinists, technicians, and vendors during fabrication, inspection, and testing.
• Provide input on design for manufacturability and tolerances during design phases.
• Consult on design revisions to improve timelines and performance.
• Configure and maintain electronic production management systems.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce costs.
