Job summary

Component Repair Technologies, Inc. in Mentor, OH is seeking an Intermediate Level Repair & Assembly Technician to contribute to repair, assembly and finishing of aerospace turbine engine components in a climate controlled facility.

You will learn through our in-house training program, gaining skills via computer-based and hands-on training to meet OEM specifications and quality standards, with duties including blending, drilling, riveting, lock wiring, and precision measurement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or trade school equivalent.
• Ability to be self-directed and motivated.
• Ability to speak, read and write English.
• Experience with general hand tools and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Follow written and verbal work instructions (OEM).
• Use hand-held and power tools to perform operations.
• Blend metals, weld, plate and coat surfaces.
• Disassemble and assemble engine components; install components to main frames and bushings.
• Drill, tap, re-drill holes; operate drill presses and lathes.
• Measure with calipers and micrometers; inspect work to standards.
• Communicate with engineers and supervisors to improve results.
