Air Products Rotoflow in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Senior Turbomachinery Aerodynamic Design Engineer to deliver advanced aerodynamic designs for turboexpanders, centrifugal compressors, and related turbomachinery. The role is hybrid with four in-office days and minimal travel.

You will work across the equipment lifecycle, applying CFD and 1D/2D/3D methods, develop aerodynamic tools, and collaborate with engineers to optimize performance, safety, and reliability.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 5+ years turbomachinery aerodynamic design experience.
• Experience with CFD-based analysis and 1D/2D/3D methods.
• Experience with turbomachinery testing and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Perform aerodynamic design for turbomachinery components to improve efficiency.
• Size and analyze flowpaths using CFD and 1D/2D/3D methods.
• Develop and improve aerodynamic tools and workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across engineering disciplines.
• Support testing, commissioning, and field startup activities.
