Job summary

Air Products is seeking a Turbomachinery Aerodynamic Design Manager for Rotoflow® in Bethlehem, PA. You will own aerodynamic design strategy, performance prediction methodologies, and tool development while leading a four-person Aero Engineering team.

The role combines hands-on design with technical leadership across global projects. You will guide CFD- and 1D/2D/3D-based analyses, drive standards, and collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver efficient turbomachinery

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of turbomachinery aerodynamics and design principles.
• Experience applying CFD-based aerodynamic analysis tools.
• Leadership capabilities to mentor engineers and guide projects.
• Background in flowpath component design and performance mapping.
• Experience with aerodynamic design of turbomachinery components.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Aerodynamics Domain Owner for Rotoflow®, directing aerodynamic design and performance prediction.
• Lead engineering standards and best practices for Rotoflow’s turbomachinery portfolio.
• Mentor a team of Aero Engineers and drive continuous improvement of tools and workflows.
• Advance CFD/1D/2D/3D methodologies for design and analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams from proposal to project execution.
• Support equipment testing, field commissioning, and aftermarket activities.
