Job summary

Air Products is seeking a Turbomachinery Aerodynamic Design Manager in Bethlehem, PA to lead the Aerodynamics Domain for Rotoflow, guiding design strategy, performance prediction, and tool development across turbomachinery systems.

You will manage a team of four Aero Engineers, balance hands-on design with leadership, and drive continuous improvement while supporting global customer projects with minimal travel.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of turbomachinery aerodynamics and design principles.
• Experience applying CFD, 1D/2D/3D aerodynamic analysis in turbomachinery.
• Demonstrated leadership and ability to influence engineering direction.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Aerodynamics Domain Owner guiding design, analyses, and performance prediction.
• Lead and mentor a team of Aero Engineers; develop and enforce standards.
• Drive ongoing improvement of aerodynamic tools and workflows across Rotoflow portfolio.
• Collaborate with product, proposals, simulation, process, and manufacturing teams from concept to delivery.
• Support equipment testing, field commissioning, and aftermarket activities.
