Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Senior Advanced Project Engineer to lead high-impact engineering initiatives across turbofan engine programs, partnering with world-class engineers, customers, suppliers, and certification authorities to ensure design excellence and timely execution.

You will oversee multidisciplinary projects across engine systems such as fan, compressor, combustor, turbine, exhaust, and installation systems, driving regulatory compliance and technical integrity while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.
• Minimum of 5 years of Project engineering or Program management experience within the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Execute changes to designs and approved source lists for engine and powerplant components.
• Develop and manage schedules and milestones.
• Oversee cost and budget management including estimate development and project planning.
• Develop technical requirements and ensure project performance and execution.
• Manage risks and opportunities; interface with vendors on technical requirements.
• Present project plans and status to customers, operators and internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate documentation for engine/component certification and qualification projects.
• Co-author and maintain organization-wide technical publications and standards.
