Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Senior Project Engineer for the Electric Power Generation Project Engineering team. You will assess and drive program performance, partnering with project leadership, the customer, and cross-functional teams on a hybrid schedule.

You’ll report to the Sr Engineering Manager and manage requirements, schedules (IMS/CAM), and budget updates while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver program objectives and resolve issues.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in Project engineering, Test engineering, or related discipline.
• Experience with CAM.

Responsibilities

• Support and lead systems and test engineering efforts including requirements management, system integration, and engine development/qualification test efforts
• Develop and maintain the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), track project milestones, and ensure adherence to strict technical requirements
• Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions as necessary to achieve project goals
• Prepare and present monthly budget and schedule updates, including CAM activities
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
• Act as the primary liaison between team leadership and customers, providing regular updates on program status and addressing any concerns
