Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico, is seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead turbine module design, analysis, and sustainment within the Hot Section Engineering (HSE) IPT. You will partner with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust turbine components and address field issues with data‑driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• 3 years of experience with hardware, blueprints, dimensions & tolerances, and/or manufacturing methods including experience with GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Lead interactions with IPTs and provide technical direction for turbine hardware outsourcing.
• Develop turbine designs and sustainment solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with CTS, MRO‑E, and field service on customer data and root cause investigations.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote continuous improvement in design practices.
