GE Aerospace is seeking a Senior Turbine Aerodynamicist to lead turbine design advancements for aircraft and industrial engines. The role entails strategic planning, cross-domain collaboration, and mentoring teams in DEQ processes to improve design and performance.

The position offers flexibility to work remotely or onsite at headquarters in Cincinnati, with in-person orientation on Day 1. A base pay range of $150,000–$190,000 USD is provided, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

Competenze

• Bachelor’s or higher in Aerospace/Mechanical Engineering with emphasis in turbomachinery aerodynamics and substantial relevant experience.
• Master’s degree with emphasis in turbomachinery aerodynamics and substantial relevant experience.
• PhD with emphasis in turbomachinery aerodynamics and substantial relevant experience.

• Recognized as a Subject Matter Expert in Turbine Aerodynamic Design and Analysis across multiple lifecycle phases.
• Promote systems thinking, risk mitigation, and problem-solving methodologies with stakeholders.
• Mentor teams in Design Execution Quality (DEQ) processes and apply product improvement tools to reduce variations.
• Identify opportunities and drive implementation of improved designs, methods, and tools across domains and sites.
• Develop and maintain Engineering/Manufacturing Practices Manuals and lessons learned.
