GE Aerospace is seeking an experienced Senior Turbine Aerodynamicist to lead high- and low-pressure turbine design across aircraft and industrial gas turbine products. You will engage with the Turbine Aerodynamics Design Board and drive innovative design processes and risk mitigation across domains.

The role requires a strong background in turbomachinery aerodynamics, CFD, and mentoring ensembles. The position may be remote or onsite at the Cincinnati headquarters, with in-person onboarding on

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with turbomachinery emphasis and 15+ years of experience.
• Master’s Degree from an accredited college/university in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with turbomachinery emphasis and 14+ years.
• PhD from an accredited college/university in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with turbomachinery emphasis and 12+ years.
• Bachelor’s Degree from a European university in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering with turbomachinery emphasis and major relevant experience.

Responsabilités

• Lead turbine aerodynamic design and analysis across product lifecycle.
• Promote systems thinking, risk mitigation, and problem-solving with stakeholders.
• Mentor teams in DEQ processes and drive design/process improvements.
• Drive cross-domain optimization of designs and processes to maximize value.
• Lead issues resolution to meet customer and regulatory expectations.
