Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Tunnel Manager / Regional Tunnel Practice Leader to guide complex tunneling projects from concept to completion across multiple U.S. offices. This role offers technical leadership, client engagement, and growth opportunities within a global infrastructure leader.

Ideal candidates will lead multidisciplinary teams, drive best practices, and advance innovative tunneling solutions while mentoring staff and contributing to business development efforts.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Engineering required; 10+ years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• Master’s degree in engineering or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams on large, complex tunneling projects from concept through completion.
• Oversee project delivery, ensuring quality, safety, budget, and schedule objectives are met.
• Collaborate with other AECOM business units to deliver integrated solutions.
• Drive innovation and best practices across our tunneling portfolio.
• Build and maintain strategic client relationships to fuel practice growth.
• Represent AECOM at industry conferences and technical forums.
• Mentor and develop talent within the tunneling team.
• Contribute to recruiting efforts to attract top-tier professionals.
• Stay at the forefront of tunneling technology and methodologies.
• Support cross-regional and international project teams on complex assignments.
